A great opportunity is available for a positive, experienced, and motivated Cloud Engineer with strong technical capability and communication skills. As a Cloud Engineer you will play a mission-critical role in the Cloud technology team maintaining Cloud operations and building new initiatives for Jetstar Group and you will have an important role in our application of the latest cloud technology and overall agility.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary Education in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant field
- Experience in operating and maintaining AWS based environments
- Azure experience favourable: Majority of our assets are in AWS, so Azure experience is a bonus
- Strong scripting experience in one or more programming languages such as Ruby, Python etc
- Sound understanding of enterprise networking and cloud native network devices and functions
- Hands on experience using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies, processes and tools
- Demonstrable knowledge in fully automated Infra-As-Code deployments in Terraform
- Logging & event management tools such as Splunk & DataDog
- Experience with governance, best practice, redundancy and security
- Demonstrable experience monitoring highly available applications and core systems
- Experience with Windows or Linux at scale
- Willing and able to travel internationally a few times per year
