Core Responsibilities in People Management
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to attract and retain top talent, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with company goals and best practices.
- Facilitate employee engagement and development initiatives to nurture a positive workplace culture.
- Coordinate and manage performance reviews, promotions, and employee feedback processes
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters
Operational Excellence and Process Improvement Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving organisational efficiency and effectiveness across department.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement sustainable solutions to enhance operational workflows
- Oversee administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations and address any logistical challenges.
- Work with Account Managers to generate reports and data to quantify performance and skills of their teams.
- Providing monthly staffing reports on hours worked, holidays, and sick days etc to enable payroll to be performed.
Skills and Experience Required for Success
- Proven experience of at least 4 years in a similar People and/or HR Manager role, preferably within a marketing or digital agency
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and operational management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset towards organisational development.
