Job Description: PMO (London)
Full-Time (On-site) Position – Non-Negotiable
I am seeking an experienced PMO to join our client’s team in London, providing crucial project management support to ensure smooth execution of key activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PMO functions, including planning, action tracking, and reporting, and will work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to drive project success.

- Contract length : 6 months with the possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Support : Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, working closely with managers to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Action Tracking : Proactively track actions and follow up on deliverables, ensuring nothing falls behind schedule.
- Customer Journey : Provide support in managing and mapping out the customer journey where relevant.
- Reporting : Prepare and deliver regular reporting to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project status and progress.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Liaise with managers and the wider team to ensure all activities are coordinated and issues are addressed.
- Governance & SteerCo Meetings : Take initiative in organizing and facilitating governance meetings, including Steering Committee (SteerCo) sessions.
- JIRA and MS Project : Utilize JIRA and MS Project for tracking progress and managing project workflows.
- PMO Artifacts : Hands-on development and management of key PMO artifacts, ensuring all project documentation is maintained and up to date.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a PMO role, with hands-on involvement in planning, action tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to work well with different teams and project managers, offering support without ego or unnecessary complexity.
- Familiarity with PMO artifacts and governance processes; must be comfortable supporting existing frameworks and templates.
- Competence in tools such as JIRA and MS Project.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and report to senior leadership.
