Our client operate within the Plant Machinery sector, dealing with sectors such as Construction, Quarry and Waste Management. They are looking for a New Business Sales Executive to join their team, and to operate in and around the Southeast of the UK. You must be based in this area and be happy to be on the road throughout the week.
Role Purpose:
The New Business Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing client relationships. Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of potential projects and opportunities, setting realistic growth targets, and contributing to the company's sales strategy. Extend industry networking and cross-functional collaboration.
Accountabilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and industry partners
Identify and qualify new business opportunities
To represent the brand and take responsibility for the sale of capital equipment in a given sales territory
To achieve agreed sales targets as specified.
To provide all necessary information to the Sales Support department to facilitate order processing and machine delivery
Accurate and timely completion of all sales related documents i.e., warranty, service contracts etc.
To utilise and maintain CRM system encompassing call planning, sales opportunities, market intelligence, competitive activity and forecasting
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads
To maintain close liaison with customers and other departments to ensure the promotion of exemplary customer service

Candidate Requirements:
Basic knowledge of plant industry
Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel)
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Strong communication skills and excellent presentation skills
Strong negotiation and closing skills
