About the role:
We are looking for a passionate KS2 Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week. This vacancy has arisen due to a new addition to the team, as the school continues to grow. You will be teaching a small class of 22 well-behaved students, with the support of a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Application Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching KS2 with a track record of success.
- A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Passion for creative, child-centered teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- An understanding of and commitment to inclusive teaching, particularly for students with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet KS2 curriculum standards.
- Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students, including SEN learners.
- Collaborating with teaching assistants and SEN staff to ensure the best outcomes for all students.
- Assessing and tracking students’ progress regularly and communicating with parents and staff.
- Contributing to the school’s extracurricular offerings, including after-school clubs.
