About the Role:
Join a company at an exciting point where they have just been through some amazing growth, with more to come. You will be joining to support the Director on implementing positive change, whilst having technical responsibility for the organization's network and telecommunications infrastructure, core and cloud applications, and cybersecurity. The role focuses on maximizing network uptime, detecting and mitigating network threats, and effectively managing technical team resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Key Projects: Lead the delivery of critical initiatives like our phone system upgrade and asset management integration.
- Enhance IT Efficiency: Implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to set clear targets and improve team performance.
- Strengthen Cybersecurity: Initiate regular penetration testing, bolster cyber security measures, and embed our Cyber Awareness and Training Programme .
- Optimize Data Management: Oversee data backup restorations, apply data retention policies, and refine data storage practices.
- Improve Systems and Processes: Review and enhance our current SD+ system for increased efficiency and strengthen online website monitoring.
- Manage Information Assets: Enhance our Information Asset Register, focusing on third-party arrangements to ensure compliance and security.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced Professional: You hold a degree in IT and bring at least 10 years of experience in the IT sector.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and support desk service management.
- Self-Motivated Leader: You're a hands-on self-starter who can work autonomously, lead by example, and inspire others.
- Adaptable and Resilient: Comfortable working under pressure, you thrive in dynamic environments and can navigate tight deadlines with ease.
- Excellent Communicator: Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-Oriented Organizer: You excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a keen eye for detail to deliver exceptional results.
