Overview
We are working with an established Mobile Telecoms Distributor who are looking for a filed based channel focused Business Manager ideally in the North of the UK (Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, York, Liverpool, Newcastle etc). There will not be a requirement to be in the office as they are wanting you to be spending time with your clients. The exception for this is during the first 3 weeks of induction where they provide you will accommodation close to their head office. During this time, you will be learning their systems, meeting the internal teams and external partners and shadowing the top performers.
As a Business Manager you will be part of a larger sales team who are all contributing to the team target. Your focus will be working with Telecom Resellers and IT MSPs mainly in the North of the UK. This will include both existing clients as well as going after new partners.
This company currently works exclusively within the B2B market and is responsible for over 40% of all corporate clients for one of the major UK networks as well as having a strong SME base as well.
The company has a great work culture which is reflected in the longevity of the company’s tenure across the board including the sales team with the majority of sales staff being 5+ years and some 10+ years.

Job Summary:
To achieve and exceed targets and KPIs, whilst maintaining the highest level of service to customers.
key accountabilities:
- Develop detailed Business Development Plans – annual, quarterly and monthly for the target area(s) of business
- To identify all potential outlets for services and products and record them in an updated database, which should be regularly maintained
- To complete a full profile with each potential and existing partner
- To establish a relationship with each partner, positioning your service as a first alternative source as a minimum
- To engage with the partner to maximise revenue and profit per transaction and minimise cost
- To contribute to the development of a business strategy for the sales team
- To produce and update the status report and forecasting tool on a weekly basis
- Take responsibility for partner communication and liaison
- Organise, prepare and manager partner meetings (on and off site) with a set agenda circulated in advance.
- Collate and distribute information and reports on market and competitor activities monthly
- To provide accurate and timely information to support the agreed management information processes and business reporting structure
