Job description:
Design, develop, and optimise engineering solutions for various projects, ensuring they meet technical, quality, and safety standards.
Repairs and maintenance of our mechanical equipment to the highest standard of workmanship
Providing recommended/detailed specifications to our Operations Team of parts for stock replacements and parts needed to undertake repairs
Manufacturing and fabrication of parts and equipment
Mig welding, use of lathe and other equipment
Removal and decommissioning of machinery
Match marking
Floor preparation including core drilling
Positioning, alignment and levelling including bolting down
Assist in skating heavy machinery
Use of forklift, plant and equipment to achieve all of the aboveBeneficial skills / qualifications
Educated to HNC or Engineering Degree, National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level 5/6
Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Full UK Driving License
Ability and willingness to travel
Health and safety conscious, full understanding of related RAMS to deliver an effective and safe maintenance regimeAdditional details:
