Business Development Manager - Waste Management Company
Location: London/Essex Area
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (negotiable) + Uncapped Commission (OTE: £70,000)

Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing both new and existing accounts. You will have full autonomy over your schedule and sales activities, working both remotely and in the field, with a focus on identifying and securing high-value, strategic accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on key strategic accounts.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients to ensure sustainable growth.
- Client Relationships: Foster and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their waste management needs.
- Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation through to proposal, closing deals, and ongoing account management.
- Account Retention & Growth: Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain and grow existing client accounts.
- Supplier Management: Work collaboratively with suppliers to guarantee efficient operations and service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within the waste management industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage your own schedule effectively.
- A proactive sales approach with a proven track record of building client relationships and closing deals.
- Knowledge of waste management and sustainability practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Basic Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience).
- Uncapped Commission: Double OTE potential up to £70,000.
