Labour Hire are looking for an experienced ELECTRICAL PROCUREMENT ENGINEER for a well-established company in SHOTTON, DEESIDE.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 4-6 year project at Shotton Paper Mill.

About You:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in this role
- Preferably with knowledge of UK Market
- CSCS card required
About the Role:
- Monday-Friday - 45 hours per week (potential for weekend work)
- 7am - 5:30pm
- Responsible for end-to-end procurement, including tendering, sourcing, and supplier / contract management,
- Identify and put into effect the measures by analysing the necessary risks and opportunities for reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO),
- Analyse supplier and subcontractor offers and interpret the most appropriate purchasing goal,
- Carry out negotiations with suppliers, coordinate the local contracts with the Project Manager, to obtain approval for contracts from the Main Office Contracts and Procurement Departments
- Creating new material alternatives and checking the usability of these materials in the project with the Technical Office Department,
- Deliver on time the orders of materials needed by the construction site with making sure the material must be quality approved,
- Coordinate and execute logistics and imports process with Head Office Procurement Department
- Continually track the supply market, keeping abreast of developments, trends, risks, and opportunities, leading the continual engagement with existing and potential suppliers and ahead of external market factors.
- Check the warehouse activities (consumables, goods receipt, transfer)
- Prepare related procurement reports/presentation.
