U-Educate is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join an inspiring school in the Southampton area.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising students in the classroom and presenting pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will ensure that students remain engaged and motivated, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students stay on task.
- Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning and respond to any questions or concerns.
- Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards education.
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable.
- A genuine interest in supporting students' learning and development.
