TeacherActive is looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a passionate, dedicated team of professionals at a lovely Primary School near Maidstone, Kent.
The School is ideally looking for a candidate with strong Computing / IT skills and experience teaching these subjects also.
The School has most recently been awarded an Ofsted report of “Ofsted” and is committed to delivering its core values; to "Collaboration, Integrity, Excellence". The school is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant that will accompany the team in promoting these values.
This is an opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to nurture and support young minds and to also conduct cover lessons in the absence of a Primary Teacher, classroom management skills are essential.
This is a long-term, temporary role with the opportunity to be made a permanent member of staff.
The ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant should:
Preferably hold a Level 4 HLTA/TA qualification, Level 3 at least is essential.
Have experience working with children in at least a Teaching Assistant/TA Level.
Have up-to-date knowledge of children’s safeguarding guidelines.
Have experience with classroom management and cover work.
