Technical Support Engineer

I’m working with a leading housing association who are looking for technical support engineers to join their small but mighty team.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Support Engineer:
- Provide operational desktop and systems support - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Research and identify solutions to end user software and hardware issues.
- Triage and escalate unresolved issues where appropriate
- Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
- Maintain centralised knowledgebase and ensure it kept up to date.
What experience are we looking for in a technical support engineer:
- Experience within technical support roles
- Familiarity with advanced principles and adoption of ITIL
- Strong documentation and communication skills both verbally and written.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
- Experienced working with and improving Windows Server technologies (Windows 10, Office 365, MS Azure)
- Experienced working with and improving Microsoft Enterprise Services (Active Directory, Exchange Server, Configuration Manager SQL Servers etc)
- Background in service desk roles is useful but not essential
