The Role
You will be part of a collaborative cross-functional team, working across the full development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You will contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the company's core eCommerce platform, which powers the entire customer journey. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and enjoys taking ownership of new features and enhanced experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software solutions.
- Develop front-end applications using visual designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Build APIs and integrate third-party solutions.
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and resilience to change.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications and services.
- Create and deploy infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Support and mentor junior members of the development team, fostering growth and collaboration.
Tech Stack
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- Node.js and React.js
- Meta-frameworks such as Next.js and Remix
- AWS services including Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB, and more
- React Native for mobile development
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing software applications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices
- Enthusiasm for learning and adopting new technologies
- Excellent communication skills, both within the team and with stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with AWS services and serverless technologies (e.g., Lambda, AppSync)
- Experience with modern frameworks like Next.js or Remix
- Previous experience in the Retail or eCommerce industry is a plus
