The Role
As the Systems Analyst in the Business Services team you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing a diverse range of critical business applications, including Finance, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Resources, Payroll, and Time and Attendance systems. You will be involved in analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless integration and functionality across all platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, streamline processes, and provide technical support to end-users, ensuring that all applications meet the evolving needs of the organization. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and effective communication with stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
You will enjoy solving problems, working with data and new technology, and configuring systems to ensure they operate efficiently. Flexibility is key, as you will work concurrently in project teams implementing new technology while providing support to internal customers to configure and maintain existing systems. Resilience, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders are crucial.
This role is visible across the entire business and critical to the success of our Operations, Commercial, Finance, and People & Culture teams. There will be opportunities for on-the-job training, and you are expected to progress quickly and become a subject-matter expert in our business systems.
Your role responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the setup and maintenance of G’day’s corporate applications
- Analyze and document business requirements to ensure systems meet organizational needs.
- Identify and resolve system issues to maintain seamless functionality.
- Ensure seamless integration of various business applications across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and streamline processes.
- Provide technical support to end-users and address their needs.
- Work with vendors and support partners as required.
- Contribute to the planning of the technology roadmap, assist in project management activities and change management activities (including training) as needed.
- Develop and maintain processes, knowledge base, policies, and standards to comply with legislative and best practice requirements.
- Provide input on the selection of technology to ensure the business has access to best-in-class solutions.
Your Experience
Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology or a relevant field, combined with experience in supporting/configuring corporate applications such as Finance, ERP, HR, Payroll and Time and Attendance systems. You will have solid experience in systems integration, troubleshooting and data analysis tools. You will be well versed in delivering solutions/projects using agile and waterfall methodologies.
By bringing a high level of energy, self-motivation, decisiveness, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail to G'day Group together with your naturally upbeat and open communication style will fit our cultural values. You will have a highly organised mindset, with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders whilst working closely with our established IT Team.
