Who we are
Guild Gaming is a global gaming & esports business based in the heart of Shoreditch, East London. We are looking for a Junior Creative Director to be based in London at our HQ. We generate creative products & services across the gaming sphere, as shown by our full-service production and creative agency Guild Studios, our events space at the Sky Guild Gaming Centre, and the success of our esports teams.

The opportunity
The Junior Creative Director role is responsible for collaborating with the Guild Studio’s team to build the Guild brand using elite graphic, layout, and motion design skills to develop original content as well as play an instrumental role in devising and developing responses to campaign and partner briefs.
You will work across various creative assets including video production, social media, and activations, ensuring that all visual content aligns with the Guild’s tone and audience expectations.
This role communicates original ideas effectively and clearly through design and pitching, and drives these ideas forward with the wider business.
What you’ll do
Working within Guild Studios’s team the Junior Creative Director will:
- Work closely with Chief Creative Officer and Commercial team to ideate, develop and create sales materials for everything from live event production to original content series
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure campaigns are visually cohesive, drive engagement and are tailored for each platform (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.).
- Develop design templates ensuring they are in-line with Guild’s brand guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Production to ensure alignment on creative direction and messaging.
- Develop assets for external partners and stakeholders as required.
- Work with creative agencies and freelancers, ensuring that external content fits Guild’s creative vision.
- Brainstorm, pitch, and execute creative ideas for promotional campaigns, events, and digital content.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in esports and gaming culture to keep creative assets relevant and impactful.
- Respond constructively to client feedback and develop the work until final approval.
- Show curiosity about the latest creative/design innovations
- Be flexible and ready to apply your thinking to any brief.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines
- Complete additional duties as may be required
What we look for
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in a creative role including at least two years as a senior designer
- Proficient user in Adobe Creative Suite with a particular focus on Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and After Effects
- Strong knowledge of typography and layout.
- Figma experience essential
- Motion graphics knowledge essential
- Understanding of budgets and production costs essential
- Ability to use Google slides and other layout & presentation software.
- An understanding of both technical and creative processes.
- An interest in gaming, traditional sports, entertainment and lifestyle brands is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to pitch and present creative ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
- Think innovatively and develop highly engaging ideas and campaigns.
- Ability to make astute decisions and fulfil client requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude towards work.
- Proactive, self-starter, willing learner and a team player.
- Proven ability to effectively manage key working relationships.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
