IT Support Engineer – MSP / Managed Service Provider / IT Solutions

As an IT Support Engineer , you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions for their clients. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies to deliver high-quality support and innovative solutions. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Entra, and Exchange.
- Design, deploy, and manage virtualised environments using Hyper-V and VMware.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor and manage client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for client environments.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft technologies in an MSP environment.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Entra, and Exchange.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, particularly Hyper-V and VMware.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including configuration and management of switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE, CCNA) are a plus.
