Role: Senior Solutions Architect
Salary: £90,000-£110,000 per annum + excellent benefits package, including bonus, 17% pension, £6,500 car allowance
Location: Whitechapel, Greater London (Hybrid working - 2 days on-site)
We are currently working with a well respected, well known, and highly desirable Insurance organisation, which we have a long standing relationship with who are currently recruiting for a Senior Solutions Architect to join their organisation in an exciting and brand new requirement for the business. Key duties include defining solutions, managing designs, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. The role also oversees architecture governance, adapting principles to evolving needs using frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. You will have high-level collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment between the technology roadmap and strategic objectives, delivering expected business outcomes.
Skills and experience required for the role:
- Expertise in architecture, with a strong grasp of how infrastructure, systems, data, and applications integrate to form solutions
- Extensive experience in Enterprise and IT Solutions Architecture, especially within the Insurance industry
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and a deep understanding of the Solutions Architect's role within Agile projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of the London Insurance Market, including its practices, processes, regulatory environment, and stakeholders
- Good knowledge of insurance systems, particularly in the London Insurance Market, and expertise in ongoing and planned change initiatives
- Hand on experience with MS Azure technologies, modern data platforms and Business Intelligence technologies
- Experience with .NET, Angular, and Microsoft Power Apps
- Ability to work with developers in an in-and-out outsourced environment
You will need strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities for effective cross functional teamwork, along with excellent stakeholder management, and be adept at building trust and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Due to the nature of the client, you must have experience of working in the Insurance industry, please consider this when applying for the role.
The role will be hybrid working and 2 days per week on-site in Whitechapel, so you must be local or within commutable distance to be successful for the position.
