This exciting remote based IT Cloud & Network Architect opportunity has arisen to join our Technology team to lead on all low level and high-level designs for Infrastructure services. You will provide architecture direction and be the subject matter expert for Infrastructure, collaborating with other architects on projects and BAU workstreams. Produce low level and high-level design documentation for all project workstreams.
Lead as a Network technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and knowledge to the IT Operations.
Research Cloud and Network solutions through internal and external knowledge base as needed.
Liaise with business, vendors and other IT personnel for the progression of change works.
Create knowledge articles for project solutions to be used for future support
General on-Premise Active Directory and Microsoft Entra knowledge and experience.
Networking knowledge and experience, with LAN, WAN and data communication systems, with emphasis on SDWAN technologies.
Cloud network and Azure infrastructure monitoring knowledge.
Branch office network design incorporating ISE technologies, circuit provision design and sizing.
Solid foundation in security to design and manage secure network systems effectively.
Solid understanding of IAM principles, including user authentication and authorization, vital for controlling access to network resources.
Solid understanding of storage technologies to effectively design and manage network infrastructures that support data storage and retrieval.
General M365 knowledge and experience of network integration with its services.
Ability to analyse infrastructure, highlighting area of risk and put forward suggestions for systems improvements.
