Senior/Principal Developer (TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS) | £80-110k | Remote (Northern Ireland)

The company is looking for someone with strong experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and AWS to join their growing development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer to work remotely within Northern Ireland while contributing to exciting, large-scale projects.
The Role:
As a Senior/Principal Developer , you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, scalable applications across both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate with various teams to implement and maintain infrastructure on AWS, optimize APIs, and ensure seamless user experiences. This position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to lead on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable fullstack applications using TypeScript and JavaScript .
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services to handle large-scale data.
- Architect and maintain infrastructure on AWS using services like Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB .
- Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot complex issues to deliver high-performing solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development .
- Proficient in TypeScript and JavaScript , with experience in modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js .
- Strong experience with Node.js for backend services.
- Expertise in AWS environments and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with machine learning or data-driven platforms .
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
