Achilles has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, driven, experienced security professional. We are looking for an experienced IT Security Engineer to join our UK based security team. You will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing security measures across our global operations.
Based in either our Abingdon or Madrid office, on a hybrid basis (minimum of 2 days in the office), this role may require occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will play a key role in designing and executing robust security strategies that safeguard our critical assets and data. This includes threat detection, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards such as ISO 27001.
- Work closely with our IT team to secure our infrastructure, continuously assess security risks, and develop proactive measures to mitigate potential threats.
- Ensure our systems, networks, and applications are secure through regular penetration testing, monitoring, and audits.
