The Network Engineer will play a key role in supporting, designing, testing, and maintaining both local and wide area networks, including hardware, wireless systems, and security within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Based in the Manchester office, this role offers hybrid working with 2 days onsite.

Assisting in network upgrades and migrations across the company, defining project requirements, outlining scope, schedules, and producing detailed project designs.

Identifying and implementing solutions to improve network reliability and stability, as well as maintaining a high-availability network setup. This includes configuring and managing network tools.

Managing relationships with circuit providers and overseeing the ordering, maintenance, issue resolution, and performance monitoring of subscribed services.

Adhering to established ITSM, ITIL, and Change Management processes, participating in the Change Advisory Board, and ensuring that global network standards are upheld across teams.

Conducting security audits, implementing necessary changes, managing spare hardware inventory, and tracking software/firmware versions to align with lifecycle management standards.
3-5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer role within large-scale, multi-site environments.
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are a desirable for the organisation.
