Our client, a leader in data-driven innovation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics, are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join their expanding team.
They are looking for someone to come in and make an impact in driving intelligent systems and data analytics solutions.
The role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, supporting bids for new work, writing proposals, and collaborating closely with customers to deliver tailored solutions. They are offering hybrid working (2/3 days on site per week) in Milton Keynes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading the design and development of innovative digital transformation solutions across industries.
- Using advanced data science, machine learning, and AI to create intelligent systems that drive customer success.
- Building strong relationships with customers, gathering insights, and advising on impactful solutions.
- Collaborating with top academic and industry partners to pioneer cutting-edge technologies.
- Shaping proposals and strategies for new data-driven projects, contributing to company growth.
- Thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional team while pushing your ideas and expertise forward.
Key skills and preferred experience:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and PowerBI/Tableau
- Experience with NLP, Transformers, and large text data processing
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
- Experience working collaboratively in a team
- The ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC)
