This is a Contract with the client. *Digital Workspace Architect **Montreal, QC (hybrid)**Contract* Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect in the Digital Workplace domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive solutions related to office moves, workstation user experiences, conference room setups, and guest access systems. This role requires a deep understanding of modern workplace technologies and a passion for creating seamless and efficient office environments. Role Responsibilities: Define Solution scope & plan architecture activities required to deliver it Provide direction & Lead Specialized architects in the delivery of the Solution architecture to Designers & I&T Integrators, for a project, this includes: Approve decisions made by Specialized architect Drive alignment of the proposed solution with the Enterprise & Domain strategies, master plans & roadmaps Manage risk mitigation and as required Drive issue escalation & resolution related to the architecture Signoff on Architecture where he does have the Architecture delegation authority Govern the implementation of the architecture during Delivery Lead more than one initiative simultaneously (4-6) Can be the accountable architect for a program Is accountable for the care management and talent development of 2-3 Gr. 9 architect Key Responsibilities:
* Office Moves:
* Design and implement solutions to ensure smooth transitions during office relocations.
* Coordinate with IT and facilities teams to manage infrastructure changes and minimize downtime.
* Develop strategies for efficient space utilization and layout planning.
* User Experience at Workstations:
* Enhance the user experience at individual workstations by integrating ergonomic and technological solutions.
* Implement and support digital tools and applications that improve productivity and collaboration.
* Conduct user feedback sessions to continuously improve workstation setups.
* Conference Room Design:
* Design and configure conference rooms for small, medium, and large meetings.
* Conduct user feedback sessions to continuously improve workstation setups.
* Implement audio-visual solutions and collaboration tools to support various meeting types.
* Ensure conference rooms are equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless communication.
* Develop a comprehensive solution for a collaboration room and meeting room reservation system that includes visual occupancy status.
* Guest Access Systems:
* Develop and manage systems for guest access to the building and facilities.
* Ensure security protocols are in place for temporary access.
* Provide a user-friendly experience for guests, including digital check-in and access management.
* Strategic Alignment:
* Ensure that all solutions align with the organization’s broader strategic goals and architectural principles.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and influence the digital workplace strategy.
* Change Management:
* Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
* Provide training and support to employees to help them adapt to new systems and tools.
* Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
* Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the digital workplace domain.
* Propose innovative solutions to enhance productivity and user experience.
