We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is excited to work independently with pediatric and adult clients in school and home setting on face-to-face basis. Be on the go with a schedule that works for you and which you have full control over. This is a part-time position based in Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding areas. What you will be doing: Provide assessments in a home setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
You will see individuals with a wide variety of concerns including, but not limited to, clients recovering from stroke, other neurological problems, or congenital conditions, who are now having trouble with speaking, breathing, or swallowing
Design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
Partner with our client’s family members, caregivers and other health care professionals regarding care goals and service plans. Skills needed for success: Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology.
Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License and the use of a reliable vehicle.
Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
