We are partnered with a growing MSP who are building out their Project Delivery and Consultancy teams. An experience Technical Consultant or Infrastructure Consultant will have a great opportunity to build out a function within a start up environment.

Salary up to £70,000 with 1 day per week on site on Gloucester.

What you’ll be doing:

Work closely with clients during pre-sales, understanding their needs and designing tailored infrastructure solutions.
Lead the technical delivery of projects, from design through to post-sales implementation and handover.
Be the go-to expert for M365 and Fortinet, advising clients on best practices and ensuring solutions are secure and scalable.
Design and configure networking infrastructure, focusing on security and performance optimisation.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clients, ensuring their systems run smoothly.
Collaborate with a talented, ambitious team on a variety of projects, bringing innovative solutions to the table.

Key skills we’re looking for:

M365 Expertise :

Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
Experience with Azure Active Directory (AAD), particularly in managing identity, security, and conditional access.

Fortinet Networking :

Expertise in Fortinet products, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
Strong understanding of secure network design, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network segmentation.

Infrastructure & Cloud :

Experience designing and deploying hybrid and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, on-prem).
Virtualisation technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Bonus Points :

PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
Familiarity with ITIL processes.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
