Flat Roofing Contracts Manager
The role will include all aspects of contracts management, including all pre- and post-construction activity, site and installation, procurement, and H&S, along with managing all communication with the end client to ensure that all work scope is achieved in line with contractual expectations.
For each site/project, they have a working or non-working site supervisor who will manage the day-to-day running of the project. This contracts manager will be responsible for running 4-6 projects at the same time.
Oversee all construction activity associated with the Project
- Manage all associated commercial costs of the Project, including any variation activity.
- Ensuring that work is carried out strictly with Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- To organise and supervise plant, craneage, materials, labour, and sub-contractors to meet contract requirements.
- Check quality, ensuring that work conforms with specifications and drawings.
- To coordinate deliveries with the Main Contractor’s on-site systems
- Attend meetings with Client/ Main Contractor meetings as required.
- To give weekly Toolbox Talks to labour and sub-contractors.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: SMSTS – site management safety training scheme, NVQ Level 3, 5 or 6.
- Minimum 10+ Years experience in the roofing industry in the new build sector. Ideally 5+ years at a management level.
- Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Main Contractors of contracts of minimum value £1M-£5M.
- Must be experienced with material manufacturers.
- Competent IT skills with knowledge of DCM systems such as 4Projects, Asite, Aconex etc.
- Valid driving licence.
