Are you a Data Engineer looking to join a maturing data team?
We are currently partnered with a multibillion-pound organisation who are at the start of a huge long term transformation driven by their recent acquisition through private equity. You will be joining a small team, that is likely to grow and change over the next 18 months, with plenty of opportunities to develop.
As the data engineer a few things you will be involved with:
1 - Where is the data? The right people will have to be curious enough to go and find what they need whether its item data, customer data, invoice data, understand where it comes from.
2 - Transformation - understanding what a customer is, what net revenue is etc through data
3 - Power BI and the using that correctly.
They don't just want a SQL writer, 70% of the role will be this, the rest wil be 30% stakeholder gathering, management, working across all the functions in the business including tech, finance, marketing, distribution etc.
Commercial working experience with SQL, ETL, PowerBI all a must.
Located in the Northwest, commutable from Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Manchester, Merseyside, Staffordshire and surrounding areas.
