Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Relationship Manager (Credit) to join our Corporate Banking team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients, driving business growth through tailored credit solutions, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of corporate credit products, risk assessment, and relationship management within a competitive financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Portfolio Management:
o Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with corporate clients to understand their business needs and financial objectives.
o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering bespoke credit solutions to support their growth and sustainability.
• Credit Analysis and Structuring:
o Conduct detailed financial analysis and credit assessments to evaluate clients' creditworthiness.
o Prepare and present credit proposals to internal credit committees, ensuring alignment with the bank's risk appetite and compliance standards.
• Business Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector, leveraging networks and market insights.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists and risk management, to deliver integrated banking solutions.
• Risk Management:
o Monitor client performance and credit exposures, proactively identifying potential risks and taking corrective action where necessary.
o Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines.
• Market Insights and Strategy:
o Stay informed of industry trends, economic developments, and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities for the bank.
o Provide input into the development of the corporate banking strategy and product offerings.
Qualifications and Experience
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is preferred).
• Experience:
o Proven track record of 5+ years in corporate banking, with a focus on credit and relationship management.
o Strong expertise in credit analysis, structuring, and approval processes.
o Demonstrable success in business development and managing high-value client relationships.
• Skills and Attributes:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
