A fantastic role for a Civil/Structural Engineer has come available with a National Multi-Disciplinary's large Ashford office. They are looking for a well grounded Civil/Structural Engineer with a keen interest in working on Power/Energy projects such as Wind Farms and Nuclear Power Plants.
You will need to show a good understanding of Civil/Structural Designs but you don't need to have worked solely on Energy schemes. A keen interest in the sector is all you need when applying for this role. You will also need to be underway with your pursuit of Chartership, this consultancy will offer you the support and workload required to become Chartered with the ICE.
In return, as a Civil/Structural Engineer you can expect a salary of between £37k - £43k, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy 10 more, a very good non-contributory pension and plenty more corporate benefits!
Civil/Structural Engineer Requirements
You will ideally be experienced in design and build including managing and responding to site queries.
Progression to professional chartership
Experienced in structural design of industrial and commercial buildings, having worked in multi-disciplinary teams to modern BIM standards
Proven skills to lead projects and teams and be progressing to professional qualification.
Experience in the Power sector with substation and converter station and associated accommodation buildings
Experienced in the design of portal frame structures.
