We are currently seeking a Site Engineer with a civil engineering background and residential experience to join our dynamic team.
The Site Engineer will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for our residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background and experience in residential construction. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in construction work.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the construction team.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to project managers and clients.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making on-site to maintain project momentum.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on residential construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required
