My client is a global leading Digital Consultancy specialising in Cloud Adoption & Digital Architecture/Transformations, with offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow (providing a hybrid working model a 1 day in the office/4 days remote p/w - can be 2-3 days on an ad hoc basis). Clients include Government, Finance, Retail & Energy sectors.
They are looking for a Senior Cloud Strategy Consultant to join a rapidly growly Cloud Advisory team, currently at 20 and looking to grow to 70+ by next year, working across multiple end-to-end digital transformation projects within Government, Finance, Retail and Energy sectors.
Primary responsibilities:
- Must be SC Eligible
- Experience in cloud strategy and implementation for large or mid-size organisations on public clouds (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Experience in developing cloud adoption strategy and roadmaps for clients
- Implementation of cloud strategies & transformation plans for clients to migrate to cloud.
- Experience in translation of client business challenges into cloud-based solutions and strategy within specific technology and business domains
- Experience in managing Cloud/Technology cost optimisations
- Understanding of cloud transformation challenges and pitfalls
- Understanding of industry clouds provided by AWS, Azure, GCP in one or more industry domains
- Understanding of the role of cloud for transformation of data & analytics, customer experiences and enterprise transformation
- Understanding of cloud security models, DevSecOps and cloud operations
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
- Being comfortable in a client-facing role, with previously consulting or advisory experience.
