Scheme Junior Project Manager (Railnet) – IT Networks LAN/WAN Project
CACI Network Services is a rapidly expanding specialist IT and Networks consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within challenging and exciting environments with our major clients in Global Media, Banking, Government, Telecoms & Utilities.
The Railnet programme consists of 3 work streams : MX1 over SDH Project will provide an in house solution on which to migrate telephony services, the VCT Project will provide a joint Rail, 3rd party supplied solution and the FTNx WAN Project will deliver the network connectivity underpinning the VCT solution.
- Experience of delivering Telecoms and Voice or IT Networking LAN/WAN projects
- Prince 2 or APM
- Stakeholder management experience
- Strong Excel and presentation skills.
- Strong supplier management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, management and communication skills.
- Practical understanding of GRIP, Engineering Management Standards (eg 2009), CSM and CDM.
- Ideally have experience of working in an operational Railway environment
- CCNA or similar would be great
- Strong team and leadership skills.
