Software Engineer - Milton Keynes (on-site) - £50k
An excellent opportunity for a mid-level Software Engineer to join a well-established company.
You would need to attend the office in Buckinghamshire 4 days per week initially with a view to reducing the days atter the probation period.
The role includes:
- Support, configuration, and development of products that form part of a management system and user interfaces for printing press machines and other industrial applications.
- Configuration and support of databases running on Windows PCs and servers running software developed in Visual Studio .NET.
- Remote support of existing customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of experience
- Good communication skills – to understand and document customer needs.
- Microsoft SQL. Able to set up, write scripts and store procedures and analyse database information.
- Microsoft SQL Reporting Services – able to create and modify reports.
- Familiarity with the practical application of SQL databases.
- C++
- Software test and debugging – testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults within existing software.
- Visual Studio (Visual Basic and C#) – able to modify, adapt and develop software.
- Good general IT skills using Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 11 OS.
