Senior BI Developer 12 Month FTC – Glasgow (Hybrid)

AI Connect are partnering with a Finance company in Glasgow to appoint a Senior BI Developer. You’ll have the opportunity to join a technologically advanced team and build a brand new data warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- You’ll be responsible for the development of a new data warehouse using date modelling techniques and Kimball methodologies
- The ability to extract data from raw files and transfer to a data warehouse environment
- Build ETL pipelines using SSIS
- Design a range of Power BI reports, dashboards and visualisations which meet business requirements and stakeholder expectations
- Work alongside a team of Business Analysts, Developers and Data Engineers to collaborate, innovate and support business wade data led decision-making
- Have a passion about reporting building and visualisation design. Eager to continually improve and showcase your capabilities
Skills & Technical Expertise
- Able to develop tabular models using Tabular Editor would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Kimball methodologies, star schemas etc
- Experience programming in SQL for fact dimension tables etc would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling techniques
