Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer (App Packager) – Outside IR35 Contract
Location: Remote-first, ideally near Birmingham, with occasional travel to go-live sites
Contract Duration: 3-6 months
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in application packaging, Intune, Azure, and M365. This role involves supporting our hybrid device environment, addressing issues related to on-premises Azure, and ensuring seamless application packaging and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Packaging: Manage and execute application packaging tasks, ensuring all applications are packaged correctly and efficiently.
- Intune & Azure Support: Provide third-line support for Intune and Azure-related issues, particularly in hybrid environments.
- Migration Support: Assist with entry-to-entry migration processes, addressing any issues that arise, particularly those related to Quest.
- Security Protocols: Implement and maintain security protocols within the M365 environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with RLG and ASC teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Project Management: Coordinate with the full-time Project Manager, to keep project timelines on track.
Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with M365, Azure, Intune, and application packaging.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, particularly those related to on-premises Azure and hybrid environments.
- Communication Skills: Strong personality with the ability to work effectively with less experienced engineers and guide them through challenges.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel to go-live sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Quest migration tools.
- Previous experience in a remote-first role with occasional on-site requirements
