My client is looking for a dedicated IT Support to join their dynamic team. This role is based out of my clients Farnborough office and opperates on a shift basis, Monday to Friday between 6am and 8.30pm and my client is offering a salary of up to £29K PLUS a bonus.
As an IT Support Agent, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services. You'll provide crucial technical support, managing day-to-day requests and incidents while helping to maintain the efficiency of the organisation's IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, the IT self-service portal, and in-person
- Log, update, and manage all support requests in the IT call logging system, covering both software and hardware in the operational environment
- Manage software licences, including ordering and distribution
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer information
- Allocate technical issues to the relevant resolver teams, initiate escalation when necessary, and oversee incidents through to resolution
Experience Required:
- Prior experience in an IT service desk environment
- Proficiency with Office 365 and Microsoft Azure
- A solid understanding of mobile telephony and smart devices
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
