As a Senior IT Supplier Manager, you'll be joining a global insurance firm, to enhance and mature the management of third-party IT suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal contractual delivery, advocating for high service standards, and maintaining alignment between supplier agreements and evolving business needs.
Location: Central London (3 days per week)
Rate: £700 per day (inside IR35).
Duration: 6 months or temp to perm available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement best practices for Supplier Relationship Management, Contract Management, and Risk Management.
- Align IT and business strategies with third-party supplier relationships.
- Support procurement efforts, advising on the supplier market and service delivery priorities.
- Own and refresh supplier segmentation to ensure alignment with service criticality.
- Ensure robust contract management aligned to regulatory requirements.
- Define, monitor, and update service levels and KPIs to drive continuous service improvement.
- Lead service management meetings, ensuring compliance with contractual governance.
- Oversee supplier performance, addressing any remediation actions and contractual changes.
- Develop and maintain exit and business continuity plans.
- Ensure accurate risk management and reporting for third-party IT supplier performance.
Skills & Experience Required:
- At least 5 years of relevant technology procurement/vendor management experience, ideally in financial services.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating complex supplier relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to define pragmatic, innovative solutions while managing conflicting priorities.
- Must have experience managing outsourced providers based in India.
