Senior Video Editor - 3 Month Rolling Contract
Location: Hybrid working in London
Rate: £350 per day
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Mid-Weight/Senior Video Editor to join our client in the finance industry. In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to produce captivating video content that meets campaign goals and enhances brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients during the pre-production phase, providing creative insights and managing expectations.
- Partner with marketing and creative teams to strategise and produce engaging video content.
- Develop innovative concepts and storyboards, focusing on strong narratives and high viewer retention.
- Stay updated on creative trends in both short and long-form video formats.
- Generate new and distinctive video ideas that capture attention.
- Set up and manage on-set equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound, to ensure top-notch production quality.
- Direct on-set activities to ensure the final footage aligns with the desired story and visual style.
- Prepare and brief subjects for filming, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
- Shoot and edit high-quality video content efficiently.
- Ensure all videos are engaging, align with brand aesthetics, and effectively communicate the brand's story.
- Export final video projects in various formats for diverse platforms (web, social media, TV, etc.).
- Create animated motion graphics to complement face-to-camera content.
- Collaborate with fellow creatives in the in-house Creative Studio on multiple content projects.
Experience Required:
- 6+ years of experience as a Mid-Weight/Senior Video Editor.
- Expertise in managing film, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and senior stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable participating in meetings and workshops, with the capability to challenge briefs for optimal outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a personable and collaborative approach.
