Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Agile Content Designer who will work collaboratively within Agile teams to deliver clear, concise, and user-centered content. The ideal candidate will have experience working within cross-functional teams to create digital content that meets user needs, aligns with business goals, and supports the overall service delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, content design principles, and user experience (UX) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Design: Develop, design, and iterate content across digital products and services to ensure it meets user needs.
- User-Centered Content: Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, and product owners to ensure that content is intuitive, user-focused, and accessible.
- Agile Delivery: Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning) to help teams iterate and improve content rapidly.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment on content strategy and project objectives.
- Prototyping & Testing: Prototype content, test with real users, and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to content strategy development, ensuring consistency across all platforms and channels.
- Standards & Guidelines: Ensure all content adheres to style guides, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices.
- Performance Analysis: Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of content and make informed decisions for improvement.
Skills & Experience:
- Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within Agile teams.
- Content Design & UX: Proven experience in content design, with a focus on user-centered design and UX writing.
- Research & Testing: Experience conducting or collaborating on user research, A/B testing, and usability testing.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work in cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product owners.
- Tools & Software: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch), and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present content solutions clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
- Accessibility: Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and a commitment to creating inclusive content.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to use data to inform content design decisions, with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in a digital, UX, or content design role within an Agile environment.
- Certifications in Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.) or UX design are advantageous.
