Peaple Talent have partnered with a large retail/ecommerce organisation based in the heart of London who are currently recruiting for Dynamics 365 Architect. You will be joining a dynamic team developing ERP, ecommerce, CRM and BI systems to drive continual improvement across their global operations by specifying, developing, and testing key improvements to processes, integrations and systems, with a prime focus on driving our e-Commerce and wholesale business operations.
Within this role you will architect, develop, configure, customise and support the delivery of business solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365, other Microsoft Business tools and in-house bespoke systems. The job holder will supervise, coach and support more junior staff and external suppliers, whilst managing the diagnosis and resolution of support issues in the ERP environment and in-house bespoke systems.
You will also embrace and work within the method of delivering AGILE backlog items within two-week sprints to demonstrate a little and often approach to delivering change.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop, test and deploy customisations, integrations, and new functionality within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environment.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance on Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities, limitations, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Dynamics 365 F&O with other business systems.
- Conduct system performance tuning and troubleshooting issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides for developed solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest updates and features in Dynamics 365 F&O and advise on their adoption.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- look for opportunities to maximise the use of business systems to aid efficiency across the business.
- Stay curious and enthusiastic about using automations to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work.
- Contribute to the resolution of Priority 1 (P1) major incidents and some limited out of hours deployments and system testing.
Specific abilities and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent demonstratable experience
- Must be able to travel to White City, London for next day meetings.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations development.
- Strong knowledge of X++, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure DevOps.
- Familiar with and develops to OWASP standards.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O integrations and data migrations.
- Understanding of finance and operations business processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
