Software Delivery Manager
Location: Hybrid - Borehamwood

We are seeking a talented Software Devlivery Manager to join our dynamic team in Borehamwood. If you're passionate about leading innovative projects and driving success in a collaborative environment here at Brown & Brown Europe.
The day to day:
- Be the primary point of contact for your projects
- Take ownership, plan and manage the delivery of all work package updates through to production and manage the code defect changes and project change requests in a timely and predictable manner using effective communication.
- Work with business stakeholders to ensure consistent, high quality, regular software deliveries to our stakeholders and customers
- Build a healthy team culture, through coaching and facilitation and protecting the team from distractions and demotivation
- Build and maintain a collaborative and performant relationship with all in-house / external software providers
- Work with our technical leads to support the technical growth and development of the teams where appropriate
- Manage issues, risks and dependencies, and ensure these are communicated and acknowledged effectively
- Ownership of incidents, acting as a point of escalation for the wider technology teams
- Communication with internal stakeholders to assist in scoping and delivering of suggested solutions and opportunities against stated timescales
About you:
- Agile software delivery project management experience
- Strong communication skills with both business stakeholders at all levels and also technical teams
- Strong understanding of full software development life cycle in an agile environment
- Client stakeholder relationship skills
- Strong & proven Software Development Manager experience
- Strong and proven software development experience using .NET frameworks
- Experience of creating and managing project roadmaps
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
- Ensuring that relevant incident, problem and change escalations are dealt with appropriately.
- Responsible for ensuring that relevant process documentation and procedures are kept up to date and in line with internal IT standards.
- Providing regular reporting to IT Management and the wider business stakeholders
- Experience of measuring agile team performance and quality.
- Experience of managing third parties (offshore companies would be a bonus).
