Python Developer – GenAI Project Tier-One Investment Bank (without the politics)

The work includes core engineering, API development, and building Python-based frameworks that enable safe and efficient use of generative AI across the bank’s ecosystem.
Develop robust, reusable Python code, building libraries and frameworks to safely integrate GenAI technologies into the bank’s infrastructure.
Work on key APIs that consume data used by GenAI tools, enabling innovations like generating database queries and client reports from free-text inputs.
Deploy Python applications using Docker and Kubernetes, contributing to the development of cloud-native, scalable systems.
Build data pipelines and handle large-scale, enterprise-level systems.
Engage in research on new AI/ML tools, and present your findings to the team.
5+ years of Python programming experience (Django preferred).
~ A keen interest and some commercial experience in AI/ML and emerging GenAI technologies.
~ Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred but not essential).
~ Work on transformative AI projects without needing prior banking experience.
