We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Developer with some solid GIS experience to join a dynamic team, working across the UK public sector .

As part of this Geosolutions team , you'll develop, implement, and maintain GIS applications using both ArcGIS and open-source technologies . You'll collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to design high-quality solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.
Your Role:
- Design and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS API for JavaScript/Python.
- Develop web-based mapping applications and interactive visual tools.
- Perform spatial analysis using ArcGIS tools, Python, and SQL.
- Optimise workflows for maximum efficiency and provide technical support for GIS systems.
- Mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and passion for GIS.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in GIS development , particularly ArcGIS and open-source GIS tech .
- Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and GIS programming languages (ArcPy, Arcade, Python, SQL).
- Experience with spatial databases like Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of s patial analysis, cartography, and database management.
Bonus points for experience with AI/ML in GIS applications !
